We hear a lot of talk about how our vibration affects our lives. I recently stumbled upon some fascinating research by Naturotherapist Dr. Harshal Sancheti, Nasik who gathered his data from the book, “Power vs Force.” The research indicates that everything has a vibration, even our emotions. Basically, your own state of mind and emotions determine who/what you attract into and out of your life. I’ve witnessed this firsthand in my own life: Before I practiced yoga and meditation consistently, I would often suffer from bouts of depression. With depression comes feelings of sadness, grief, fear, etc. (low-vibing emotions). As a result, I would often attract people and situations of a similar low vibration. I probably attracted higher-vibing situations as well, but my low vibrational state would repel them.
Frequencies have to be aligned to be sustained. That’s why if you are in a relationship and are continuing to raise your vibration but the other person isn’t, chances are, it can’t prosper. Actual laws of nature are at play (i.e. you either grow or go). The frequency has to be a match and what I’ve noticed is that one person will either get pulled up to the higher vibration or the higher vibrational energy will get pulled down. But somehow, a vibrational balance must be achieved. Obviously, it doesn’t serve you if you are getting pulled down to a lower vibration. Know when to walk away if the vibe isn’t right.
In science, the measurement unit for frequency is Hertz (hz). Fear is a very low frequency and vibrates at 0.2 to 2.2hz. Dr. Sancheti notes, “The frequency of the earth today is 27.4hz but there are places that vibrate very low like: hospitals, assistance centers, jails, underground etc. It is where the vibration drops to 20hz or less.” I had a strange experience with this phenomenon recently: I dropped my father off to the hospital for some tests when he was ill a few months ago. As I walked toward the ER door to enter, it was as if I was stopped in my tracks by some greater force; I literally could not enter. The vibration was so low that I was repelled. This phenomenon is happening all the time, whether you notice it or not. Even in the brain, neurons that fire in the same direction will wire (bundle) together. In that moment at the hospital, I knew exactly what was happening but how would it look if I refused to escort my own father into the hospital? I motioned for a nurse standing by the entrance to bring a wheelchair to assist him. She came outside and helped my father. Saved by the universe again!
Let’s take a closer look at how the concept of frequency and vibration relates to health: The Covid-19 virus has a vibration of 5.5hz and dies above 25.5hz. For humans with low vibration, the virus becomes dangerous. On the other hand, for humans with a higher vibration, illnesses are a minor irritant and disappear quickly. We could also relate this to immunity — immunity relates to your vibration. The higher you vibrate, the stronger your immunity. Raising your vibration keeps your energetic field protected. It’s like having an invisible shield of grace around you at all times. Think of it like a hidden power, your superhero cape.
Spiritual practices (yoga, mediation, prayer, etc.) elevate your vibration. According to Dr. Sancheti, “The vibration of prayer alone ranges from 120 to 350hz.” Allow energy to guide you. Go with your gut, if it feels off, it probably is. Take a look at your life and the people in it— that’s your barometer. The good news is, if you don’t like what you see, you have the power to change it. It’s a matter of doing the inner work, releasing fear and lower emotional states, and increasing that love vibe! As evolved humans, if we were to ask ourselves WWJD, the response today may be, “Vibe Higher!” Jesus was a conduit of love, as with other spiritual prophets of the past, present, and future. In the end, love prevails.
Let’s look at the frequency of variations of love-based emotions:
Compassion: 150hz and up
Pretty uncanny compared to the lower emotional states. A pure and giving heart is the highest vibration—love is the strongest force; it breaks all barriers and closes all gaps. Love has the power to mend, heal, and break you open
in all the best ways possible. The heart chakra, Anahata, is the center of the entire Chakra system. The purpose of the Anahata chakra is to achieve perfect union through love. A completely open Anahata chakra that works together with all the other chakras in harmony will transform us into a channel for Divine love. Our heart has the ability to change the world, reconcile, or even heal the people around us. The energy of the Anahata chakra radiates out; an open heart chakra can have a healing and transformative influence on others—your love vibration has the power to ignite love in others! Thus, love can heal the world.
While here in Jamaica, the soothing sounds of Bob Marley fill the air. His love-inspired melodies can be heard all over the island. Maybe that’s exactly what Bob was alluding to: The heart holds the key, love is the answer….always.
“One love (what about the one heart?)
One heart (what about-)
Let's get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (one love)
So shall it be in the end (one heart)....”
Let's get together and feel all right
